How To Join

NOW - Anyone living or working in Jackson or Clay County is eligible to join CCCU.

Member Groups & Eligibility

If you are eligible for membership according to the Field of Membership Eligibility shown below than you may write us or call us at (816)-842-0727 or 800-254-1535 (fax 816-221-1972) stating your eligibility and a member service representative will send you a membership application or print out a membership application and mail to us.

Please print it off, complete, and mail the membership application to the credit union along with copies of two forms of identification and an initial deposit of at least $25 for your share savings account. The credit union will run credit and deposit account verfication checks on new applications.

There is no charge or fee to join the credit union. However, to participate in the many services you must have at least one share equal to $25 in your share (savings) account. The $25 is yours and if you should ever leave the credit union it may be withdrawn.

Central Communications Credit Union's Field of Membership

1) Those persons, societies, associations, co-partnerships employed by or affiliated with the telephone industry; employees of the electronic communications industry; officers and employees of any credit union organized under the laws of the State of Missouri; family members, retired and former employees, and organizations and any continuing entities of the aforementioned.

2) Those persons who reside or work in the following U.S. Postal Zip Code areas are eligible for credit union membership: 64101, 64102, 64104, 64105, 64106, 64108, 64109, 64111, 64112, 64113, 64116, 64117, 64118, 64119, 64150, and 64151 (plus any additional Zip Code areas which may at any time in the future be authorized within the current boundaries of these existing Zip Code areas.)

 

All current and retired employees of these sponsoring employers as well as their family members are eligible for membership, regardless of where they live or work.

Family membership is defined as: spouse, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, brother, sister, step-parent, step-child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, cousin, in-laws and other family members as approved by management.
